Introduction
We are delighted to be returning to beautiful Brighton, on the south coast of England, for the 2018 IATEFL Conference from 10-13 April 2018. Recognition for the IATEFL Conference
The Fair List
  The Fair List encourages gender balance among speakers at UK events for teachers of English to speakers of other languages/teachers of English as a foreign language.
  • IATEFL were awarded the Fair List Certificate in 2016 for the annual conference in Birmingham, for the Associates Day, the 'How to..' series, and also for 6 SIG Pre-Conference Events.
  • IATEFL were awarded the Fair List Certificate in 2015 for the annual conference in Manchester, for the Associates Day, and also for 10 SIG Pre-Conference Events.
  • IATEFL were awarded the Fair List Certificate in 2014 for the annual conference in Harrogate and also for 8 SIG Pre-Conference Events.
  • IATEFL were awarded the Fair List Certificate in 2013 for the plenary speakers at the annual conference in Liverpool and also for 5 SIG Pre-Conference Events.
     
EVE
  EVE stands for Equal Voices in ELT, and recognises both gender and highly proficient speaker parity in ELT conferences and events worldwide.
  • IATEFL has been awarded a green EVE for the 2018 annual conference in Brighton.
